Barnard has selected juries in Federal and State Court for both plaintiffs and defendants across the country. He has also assisted both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, contract disputes, antitrust, securities, and fraud. His primary practice area includes civil litigation with a focus on products liability, medical and legal malpractice, personal injury, insurance, libel, and real estate. KK&A grew to become the largest company in the country providing court reporting and related services. After working there for 13 years, Bob started his own court reporting and related services company, Krauss, Katz & Ackerman, Inc. In 1969, he became an Official Court Reporter for the President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia. He then became a Court Reporter with the Kings County Supreme Court. He was first employed as a Hearing Reporter with the Homicide Division of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, NY. Marine Corps, he received an Associate’s Degree in Court Reporting from the Hefley & Browne School of Business in New York. Bob has been in the legal services field for more than 40 years. ![]()
